This project is set to create over 78,000 permanent jobs for Jefferson County alone over the next 25 years, according to well-known economist Ray Perryman. Natgasoline just broker ground on a new methanol plant in Beaumont with an estimated price tag of $1B. Two LNG plants are adding another $10B apiece.
