This 14-story, 224,000 sq. ft. office tower was designed by world renowned architect Pietro Belluschi. It is constructed of reinforced concrete and utilized the latest in concrete technology, allowing Belluschi to reduce the dimensions of the frame to an absolute minimum. The Commonwealth Building is LEED Gold and Energy Star certified and is included in the National Registry of Historic Places. The Commonwealth lobby features a mural designed by the architect to create an aesthetically enticing professional environment.
