The Crescent City/Redwoods KOA is a 92 site RV resort located along scenic U.S. Highway 101, just 10 minutes from Crescent City and only a couple minutes from the Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park in California. Campers from all over the world stay at this extremely well-maintained campground to visit the popular and unique area. The RV park offers multiple camping options from RV sites, to different cabin options, to tent sites underneath the redwoods. Additionally, there is a 3.5-acre parcel adjacent to the park included in the sale for possible further expansion. The RV resort offers a total of 38 RV sites. Of the 38 sites, 24 are full hook-up. 3 of the 24 sites are deluxe, offering 50-amp service, pull-thru access and come equipped with a fire ring, two-person swing and table and chairs situated on a 200+ square foot patio. Of the remaining 21 full hook-up sites, 11 offer 50 amp. 8 of the 50-amp sites are pull-thru and 3 are back-in. There are 10 RV spaces that offer full hook-up 30-amp service, 8 of which are pull-thru and 2 are back-in. In addition to the 24 full hook-up sites, the campground provides 14 water/electric sites. 10 of the water/electric sites are used as dual purpose, either as back-in 30-amp RV sites or deluxe tent sites in the forest section of the campground. Of the remaining 4 water/electric sites, 3 are pull-thru and 1 is back-in. In addition to the numerous RV options, the RV resort provides campers with cabin options. There are 12 one-room cabins equipped with a full bed, bunk bed, electricity, space heaters, fire pit and picnic table. These cabins sleep up to 4 and are in or around the redwood forest. There are 5 two-room cabins that sleep up to 6 also in or around the redwoods with electricity, firepits and picnic tables. There are 2 deluxe cabins, both provide a queen bed and bunk bed, full bath with shower, microwave, mini-fridge and sleeps up to 4 campers. The lodges sleep up to 6 and offer a full kitchen (no oven) with utensils and all cookware, full bath with shower, courtyard with BBQ grill, fire ring and picnic table. The lodges come with a bunk bed, queen bed and futon. There is a total of 21 cabins. The campground also offers 32 dry tent sites in or around the redwood forest. While staying at the Redwoods KOA guests have access to wi-fi, cable TV, laundry facilities open 24 hours, a playground, game room and pavilion. Other amenities include a dog park, convenience store, bike rentals, propane, firewood, and a large playfield for camper recreation. The Crescent City/Redwoods KOA is located off Highway 101 providing easy access and visibility for travelers. Campers from all over come to explore the redwood forest and see the giant old-growth redwood trees. According to parks.ca.gov, Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park contains 7% of all the old-growth redwoods left in the world. In addition, campers can go fishing on the Smith or Klamath Rivers, hike in the forest or the dunes in the Lake Earl Wildlife area, visit Battery Point Lighthouse or golf on local courses.
