Roughly 1,800 sq. ft. commercial basement space (no live) perfect for a gallery/photo/artist studio, with a fire escape, small patio, a fully equipped state of the art darkroom,
and the original 1920's marble bathroom from the Synagogue. For decades it was artist Jack Sal’s studio (who with artist William Wegman and photographer Timothy Greenfield Sanders converted the 1920 Synagogue in the late 1970’s). It is on the same block as the Peter Brant Art foundation, formerly Walter de Maria’s building. Owner rented it for years to the Bruce High Quality Foundation (BHQF), and recently rented it to the “Camera Club” (pop up photo shooting venue) for four months.
