The Crossroads Mall has become an historical landmark in Kennewick. The original
building was utilized as the headquarters building for the War Department in
Richland during World War II. Pete Peterson purchased the building after World
War II and moved it to the present site where he named it the General Store.
The east wing addition was constructed in 1976. The Mall has been the home of
many successful businesses over the years including two of the present tenants;
Celia’s Boutique, founded in 1975 and Dog’s Best Friend, founded in 1976. The
Mall has undergone ongoing interior and exterior updates throughout the years.
Current space, remodeled in 2017, was utilized as administrative offices and is fully
furnished. Furniture may be leased with space or removed. Space includes several
private offices, cubicle work areas, a conference room, large workroom, IT/storage
room, kitchen and a private restroom.
