Midtown Arts Mercantile is an inspiring and stylish space in an up-and-coming section of San Jose on the border of Willow Glen and Downtown San Jose. With well over 1,000 new residential units delivering in the next couple of years, and proximity to the future Google Diridion Urban Campus, Midtown and the Art Mercantile will continue to be the cultural heart of the neighborhood for years to come. Custom design elements throughout the project include the use of reclaimed wood from the century-old industrial structure, now reimagined as barn doors, wood siding, and project directory. Tenant suites are targeted for manufacturing companies and the maker communities; current tenants include Chromatic Coffee (roasting facility), Terra Amico (furniture and interior element design and production), The Clear Ice Company (high-end cocktail ice manufacturing), Apis Floral (floral arrangement), Hapas Brewing Company (beer production and tap room), and Good Karma Bikes (bike repair and shop). 15% of the suite floor area may be used for incidental sales related to manufacturing in the space.
