Before that, he was with Eastdil Secured, where he opened the firm’s office in Texas and focused on institutional office sales and financing assignments throughout Texas and the Southeast. Jonathan spent the early part of his career on the principal side of the business, completing over $3 billion in office, industrial and multi-housing acquisitions and developments.
Michael McDonald, Senior Managing Director, Office Group Leader
Mike is a Senior Managing Director in the Dallas office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas, with over 25 years of experience in sales transactions. Mike is also a coleader of the firm’s national Office group. As an accomplished office investment sales expert, Mike joins JLL’s Investment Sales & Advisory team, where he will concentrate on growing JLL’s national and global capital markets business. Over the course of his career, Mike has handled over $70 billion of capital markets transactions, including office, retail, multifamily and logistics assets, in addition to strategic investment banking transactions.

Prior to joining JLL, Mike was a Vice Chairman with Cushman & Wakefield, where he completed over $25 billion of office sales transactions in the major Sunbelt markets. Before that, he spent 18 years at Eastdil Secured, ultimately ascending to a Managing Director position on its Management Committee. Mike was responsible for the office investment sales platform across the Sunbelt and supported the firm’s global business endeavors.
