The China Clipper Inn Bed and Breakfast offers luxurious lodging accommodations in the heart of beautiful Ouray. Over the past years the Inn has received many awards. This year it has made the list of "the 25 best B&B's in the USA" by www.bedandbreakfast.com (Homeaway). All 13 well-appointed rooms have private baths, 5 have fireplaces, 3 with whirlpool tubs plus there is garden with hot tub for general use. There are two common areas with fireplaces and a library. All rooms have flat screen TV.s, and Wi-Fi. The owner’s quarters (separate form the 13 rooms) consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, living room, office and one car garage. Guest parking is in front and in rear of the building. The Inn is located close to Main Street and therefor walking distance to all shops and restaurants. The Inn is in excellent condition, custom built in 1995. The property is sold turnkey with few exclusions. Ouray is located in southwestern Colorado on US Highway 500, approximately 80 miles north of Durango and 35 miles south of Montrose/ Telluride airport. The portion of Highway 550 between Ouray and Silverton, 24 miles to the south, has been named The Million Dollar Highway and is part of the San Juan Skyway, one of the most scenic and Spectacular Mountain drives in North America. Unlike other mining towns, Ouray never experienced a large fire and as a result, a significant number of 19th century commercial buildings remain in town. The entire town is listed on the National Register of Historic Districts.
