Boutique hotel that is part of The Ascend/Choice Hotel Franchise is arranged over 3 floors and conveniently located along Historic Route 66 in the heart of Pulaski County in Saint Robert, Missouri, off I-44 next to Fort Leonard Wood. Fort Leonard Wood is home to many Military Training Schools. Enclosed is a link to view Saint Robert/Fort Leonard Wood area.Many training schools including: Police School, Chemical Training, Engineering Schools and Basic Training. Graduation ceremonies bring many visitors to the area. In addition, soldiers coming here for training cannot always find lodging on Fort Leonard Wood and need lodging in the immediate area. This 79 room property was built in 2003 under the flag Motel 6. It disenfranchised from the motel 6 brand in September of 2016. At that time the property partially operated while rooms and common areas were under renovation. The Farris Hospitality Group operating the property at the time , spent $790,00.00 in renovation costs to bring the property up to the standards of a new boutique hotel called Studio Z. During the renovation the room count was reduced. (16) rooms were consolidated into suites with kitchens. Other rooms were removed for common area breakfast and a small lounge. The lobby was expanded and the final room count ended up at 54. The first year the property was able to open up all rooms for sale was 2018. In 2020 the property closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic but reopened in May of 2021 when it signed an agreement with Choice Hotels under the Ascend program.
