Built in 1873 in the Second Empire Style by Augusta's premier 19th century architect-builder, William H Goodrich. It was constructed of load - bearing brick for Mrs. Mary Clark Del'Aigle , widow of Louise del'Aigle. The Second Empire style was recent in the southern United States, and this house is an early and fine ecample of the same. Located on the corner of Greene Street and Monument St across from the Augusta Municipal Building.
