This lender-owned property was formerly operated as the Newell Potato Co-Op Storage and Packing Facility, which ceased operation and closed in April 2016. Northwest Farm Credit Services has reduced its Last Asking Price by 50%, from $495,000 to a Published Reserve Price of $247,500, or less than $3.75 per square foot for the buildings, so a sale can be accelerated by the end of June, 2019. The 17.24± acre property has 68,350± square feet of buildings which range in size from 7,176± square feet to 18,000± square feet. The property is located in the small community of Newell, near Tulelake, and is within the Upper Klamath Basin, 35 miles south of Klamath Falls, Oregon. This part of Upper Klamath Basin is known for its fertile farmland, and is home to both Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge and Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge.
