Tom has practiced in the commercial real estate industry for over 32 years having started his career with a regional developer in 1988. He is now focused on the large industrial sector, where he serves agency clients on both the landlord and tenant sides. He also works actively advising clients in both the acquisition and disposition of industrial portfolios. Examples of his landlord clients include names such as: Link Industrial, Prologis, New York Life Investors, Intersect and Richardson Properties. Representative tenant clients include: Kroger, P&G, Highline Automotive and several international furniture concerns.
Having co-founded Triad Commercial Properties in 1999, Tom and his partners served their clients over 21 years prior to the sale of the firm to Cushman & Wakefield in 2020. During the course of his career, he has earned the CCIM and SIOR designations while also serving on local industry-affiliated boards.
A native of Danville, VA, Tom has lived in Greensboro since 1988. He and his wife, Cynthia, have two young adult daughters, both whom have recently graduated college and entered the professional world. When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him fishing, skiing, hunting, spending time at the beach with family, or traveling with Cynthia.
