ABOUT 639 N STATE ST , LINDON, UT 84042

Lindon is located just 10 minutes north of the Provo/Orem metro, which is home to Brigham Young University, with an enrollment of 33,000, and Utah State University, with an enrollment of 28,000. Both feed the whole metropolitan area’s ability to continue to grow and support a variety of startups and other businesses. In response to the rapid growth both cities are experiencing, in 2017 the Daily Herald described the Provo/Orem metro as “the seventh fastest growing area in the United States” and Forbes named Utah the best state in the nation for business. The Salt Lake City metro - along with the nearby cities Provo, Park City, and other surrounding areas - comprise a growing technology hub referred to as Silicon Slopes. In reference to California’s Silicon Valley, Utah’s Silicon Slopes includes major technology leaders such as SanDisk, Intel/Micron, EA Sports, and Adobe Systems. A stable base of government entities are also located in the metro, while growing companies in the private sector include technology leaders eBay and Oracle Corp. These companies, along with Twitter Inc., Goldman Sachs and the National Security Agency, have located data and service centers in the Salt Lake City metro. Tourism will remain a top employment generator over the coming years, as several world-class ski resorts, including Brighton, Park City, Alta and Snowbird, are less than an hour drive from the airport. Vail Resorts has recently taken over the operation of Park City and nearby Canyons resorts. Salt Lake City is equipped to host numerous conventions and trade shows at meeting facilities, such as the 365,000-square foot Salt Palace Convention Center and the Energy Solutions Arena.
