It was running as an American plan resort (Like Dirty Dancing) up until 1983. This beautifully handcrafted lodge has been tastefully updated with sophisticated lodge décor and a full gourmet kitchen. An additional kitchenette and living room in lower level. This property has the ability to comfortably sleep up to 20 guests (VRBO) and over 30 for private owner use. There are very few rental properties that offer this. This makes it uniquely suited to large groups that wish to vacation together, enjoy the Northwoods of WI and share the cost of a luxurious home. Booking similar accommodations elsewhere would necessitate splitting up your group over several separate properties and costing much more. Recreational Summer opportunities including skiing, tubing, jet skiing, sailing, and more. Winter season offers ice fishing, snowmobiling, sledding, and snowshoeing. Forest Lodge is directly on the public snowmobile trail.
