This structure is a one story brick building constructed on a rectangular plan and designed in a stripped down neoclassic commercial style. The most distinctive feature of the building is the terra cotta tile ornamentation which embellishes the molded cornice lines, provides free standing urns above the roof-line and distinguishes the Doric pilasters which frame the transom windows above the street-side windows and entry. This space has had a variety of uses over its long and storied history. Uses have included a car dealership, tin shop, creamery and hardware store. But the predominant use over time has been a series of bakeries interspersed with restaurants; the last of which was a seafood restaurant. Built in 1922 this building is currently undergoing a significant renovation. Due to the renovation efforts, all of the utility services will or have been upgraded with a 400 AMP electric service, gas, sprinkler system and the building will be ADA compliant.
