The limited-service, economy hotel offers guests several room and common area amenities. The guest rooms each include a flat-screen television, mini-refrigerator, and microwave. Additionally, the common areas include barbeque grills, bus/truck/RV parking, and laundry facilities. Location: The village of Pleasant Prairie is located in the southeastern part of the state and the midway point between Milwaukee (35 miles) and Chicago (58 miles). The property is positioned on 118th street and near many leisure and business travelers' room demand generators. Recently, Nexus Pharmaceuticals announced they will invest $85 million to build a drug-making plant in the region and will locate the 100,000-square foot factory on 16 acres the company has purchased west of Interstate 94 and north of Highway 165. The site is part of the Prairie Highlands Corporate Park being developed by the village and has attracted German gummy bear maker Haribo, which plans to build a 600,000-square foot factory and Advocate Aurora Health, which is building a $130 million surgery center and medical office complex. Leisure travelers visit Six Flags Great America, a 20-acre amusement park that is located 16 miles from the hotel. Additionally, the Naval Station Great Lakes (22 miles) has maintained its position as the Navy's largest training facility and has trained and sent to fleet more than two million new sailors through the Recruit Training Command, and nearly an equal number from its technical schools. The Carthage College (10.5 miles) also hosts multiple scholastic and sporting events throughout the year and supports 2,600 full-time undergraduate students with over 120 student organizations.
