The first segment was built out as a preschool and the second and third segments are raw space. Facing the Hudson River Waterfront, in Battery Park City, at the base of luxury residential tower The Cove Club, this is one of very few retail spaces available for lease in the 10280 zip code. This location could be perfect for a large national pharmacy brand -- CVS, Duane Reade or Rite-Aid -- as there are few nearby on the map. It would be suitable for a large grocery store, but there are already two in close proximity. - The ground retail at the 2 South End Ave entrance was a children's school finished with polished cement floors and ceiling treatments that make use of the 15-foot height in sections. - From the lower level here, two cutout spaces give 30-foot height views to the ground floor windows. The cavernous lower level is connected with freight and passenger elevators and its own double-wide garage door to the outside.
