It has been updated numerous times. The siding was replaced in 2009 and the roof was replaced in 2014. The boiler was replaced in 2018 and includes new zone valves and piping. The decking is in excellent shape. Both the staff and guest laundry machines are 5 years old. The motel features unique living quarters that can be divided into two separate apartments, or remain open for one family. The yard and spacious grounds make it an excellent family environment. MOTEL ROOMS All motel rooms and apartments are newly remodeled with either sheet rock or knotty pine with matching furnishings with modern decor. There are 9 motel rooms and 7 extended stay apartments (1 or 2 bedrooms). The rooms are equipped with free internet and feature 32” TVs with cable. There is full coin-op laundry available for guests. OWNER/STAFF APARTMENT The owner/staff apartment features two levels and may be set up for one or two families if necessary. Lockable doors and a spiral staircase separate the two levels. The upper level features a full kitchen, open concept dining and living area, two bedrooms, full bath, and a great view and back door to walk out to the private yard. The main level features a full kitchen, living room, bath, and one bedroom . It has easy access to the office for after hours guest service. OFFICE The office has a separate entrance and includes an area for coffee, and area information. STAFF WORK AREA There is an area for the staff laundry machines, supplies, and utilities. All linens, towels, bedding and other amenities are in good condition and are included in the sale. OTHER The motel has an outdoor terrace and picnic area, which is near the playground area. The property also includes a garage built in 1991, and a utility shed built in 2009. The property has city water and sewer. ADVERTISING The “Cruise Inn of Alexandria” is no longer a franchised name and is owned by the seller. The reservation software and computer system, along with all brand identity is included with the sale. Cruise Inn & RV Park has been booking with Booking.com since 2012.
