ABOUT ADUR

The district of Adur occupies a strategic position between the fast-growing conurbations of Brighton, Hove and Worthing, making it a popular location for last-mile logistics companies and manufacturers. The A27 provides fast access to both Brighton and Worthing, with the A23 and A24 then offering easy access to the rest of Sussex and the M25 motorway.

Jake Huntley brings over 10 years of agency experience through roles at Capita and DTRE. During this time Jake has advised a wide variety of landlords and occupiers, but with a particular focus on projects in the South of England.

Jake has an extensive track record for providing development consultancy advice, having been involved in a significant number of land acquisitions and sales during his career.

As the Co-Head of the Industrial and Logistics team Jake is responsible for the national team.

Jake has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 2012 and was a member of the national IAS committee for over 7 years.
Max Dowley, Trainee Surveyor
Max covers the South West and South East of England, primarily advising on the disposal of existing buildings and providing advice on new development schemes.
Alice Hampden-Smith, Partner
Alice joined DTRE in May 2017, having spent four years at Cushman & Wakefield. She is part of the Industrial Leasing team, undertaking both landlord and occupier work and her coverage includes much of the Southern UK, from East London through to the West Country and Wales.

Significant projects have included agreeing a 140,000 sq ft letting to Berryworld Ltd in Northfleet, a 54,000 sq ft letting to Marston’s PLC in West Thurrock and her involvement in a 47 acre land sale in Magor on behalf of Sainsbury’s. As an accessories connoisseur, Alice caused much amusement when her first deal at DTRE involved a handbag company.
Tim Hardwicke, Partner (Head of Agency)
Tim is the Head of Agency at SHW and is based in the Crawley/Gatwick office. He specialises in the sale, letting and acquisition of office, industrial and mixed use properties across Sussex and Surrey but has also acquired offices in Norfolk and Wales for key clients.
