The former Hotel Marion will be demolished in Late Spring/Early Summer of 2018. Following the demolition of the hotel, construction will begin and generate a brand new commercial space by 2019. The new development, 34 East, will be a mixed-use residential and commercial community facility. 34 East will include 40 market-rate apartments, and host a wide-range of commercial activity on the first floor. In order to best meet the needs of the community, a childcare center and fresh market/grocery store will be implemented. We are seeking quality retailers to lease the commercial space and operate a fresh market, cafe/coffee shop, and restaurant(s). Still in the preliminary phasing of the construction, we are very open for discussion with any retail candidates who are seeking a storefront in an excellent new building!
