The adjacent plot is offered as a build-to-suit opportunity of up to 500,000 sq ft. Boasting excellent road links along the A1 corridor, M18, M1, and M180 motorways, Panattoni Park Central A1[M] provides direct access to UK consumers and supply chains. With multiple intermodal rail facilities nearby, the futureproofed connectivity makes this large-scale development a nationally-significant industrial logistics location. Central A1[M] 770 is now under construction, whilst Central A1[M] 460 is a build-to-suit opportunity.

ABOUT BASSETLAW

The Bassetlaw industrial market has grown rapidly in the past few years, as the shift towards e-commerce has facilitated a boom in big-box construction. This has been aided by its access to the A1, M1 and M18, which make large swathes of the UK's population reachable inside a couple of hours’ drive time.

The most notable recent developments include Eddie Stobart's two units at Mulberry Logistics Park in Harworth, totalling more than 1.1 million square feet, and B&Q’s new 430,000-square-foot distribution centre at Symmetry Park, south of Doncaster. Other companies with a significant industrial and logistics presence in the area include DHL and Premier Foods.

In the mid-box and multi-let sectors, there are several existing industrial estates such as Manton Wood Enterprise Park in Worksop and Harworth Industrial Estate that cater for occupiers from a wide variety of sectors. The area has witnessed strong rental growth in recent years, although incoming tenants can still get a discount here when compared to most Nottinghamshire neighbourhoods, and wages are more than 10% lower than the national average.

Tom Fairlie, Partner
Tom has worked in the Industrial and Logistics market for over 10 years, having previously held positions with Colliers International and Cushman & Wakefield. He joined DTRE in 2016 and has helped to grow the Midlands leasing team, specialising in the disposal of prime distribution and manufacturing facilities on behalf of a wide range of clients. He has a particular interest in the acquisition and disposal of development land on behalf of his clients.

Tom has also helped a variety of clients, such as Sainsbury’s and Charles Kendall Freight, who were looking to acquire new warehouse facilities in the Midlands market.
