Pitlochry is the largest town in Highland Perthshire and the tourist hub for this area of Scotland, with the main Glasgow and Edinburgh to Inverness railway passing through the town. The town’s population of c 2,800, is boosted by all year round by tourism, with the town being an important stopping point for attractions including the Cairngorms
National Park and the Grampian Mountain range Pitlochry has a variety of local and multiple retailers including Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Regatta, Mountain Warehouse, Greggs, Bank of Scotland etc. A medium sized Co-op foodstore is located on West Moulin Road. The A9 trunk road connects the town with the busy central belt of Scotland and the Highlands, with Edinburgh 75 minutes to the south, St. Andrews 90 minutes to the south east, Loch Ness 95 minutes to the north and Braemar and Royal Deeside 90
minutes to the north. The site is located to the south of Pitlochry town centre close to the junction of the A924 Perth Road and Bridge Road.
