Will Phipps has always had a passion for sports. As a Baylor freshman, he worked for Coach Scott Drew as a student manager for the basketball team because he wanted to be in the business of sports. With the subsequent training, mentorship, education, and experience, Will was able to work at a high level in college athletics. He was able to use the economic power and draw of sports to improve the community that means so much to him. Will is excited to join Coldwell Banker Commercial team and apply the skills he has acquired while serving as the Executive Director of the Greater Waco Sports Commission. Working with key stakeholders and partners throughout greater Waco, he has been able to attract and broker contracts with various national and regional events including Ironman Waco 70.3, Ironman Texas 140.6, Nautique Wakesurf Nationals, NJCAA Womens Tennis National Championships and others… Phipps earned his bachelor’s degree in speech communications from Baylor University in 2009 and his master’s degree in Sports Management from Valparaiso University in 2015. The Lubbock, Texas native resides in Woodway with his two daughters, Laney and Riley.

CCIM (1980) Designation #1231 Certified Commercial Investment Member of the Realtors National Marketing Institute. This is the highest degree awarded in the commercial investment field. A CCIM has completed a full schedule of prescribed post-graduate level courses in investment, taxation, development and marketing all types of commercial and investment properties.
SIOR (1988) Awarded the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors in 1988. The SIOR designation is the highest award in industrial real estate. Designees must meet high credibility standards and must have at least seven years experience in industrial real estate transactions. As of 2004, there were less than 2,800 active Industrial SIOR designations in the United States.
