Blue Oval City is Ford’s sprawling new complex located in Station, TN at the 4,100-acre Memphis Regional Megasite . The plant plans to be the hub for production of electric vehicles . This project will create approximately 6,000 new jobs and be the driving force for $384 million to fund infrastructure projects, authority expenses, workforce development, and other services. The entire project is expected to cost $5.6 billion, which will make it the most expensive single investment in Tennessee history. The plant expects to be operational by 2025.
