Marilyn Guion is a Senior Vice President with Advisory & Transaction Services office Leasing in Houston. Along with partners, she is responsible for the marketing and leasing of 5.3 million square feet of Class A office buildings in the CBD, West Loop, Greenway Plaza, and Energy Corridor submarkets of Houston. Ms. Guion joined CBRE in April 2016 and has a combined 16 years of commercial real estate experience in the Houston market. Prior to becoming a broker, she completed five years of capital markets transaction experience with Hines Real Estate. Her role at Hines included the acquisition and disposition of office, industrial and retail properties nationwide, as well as Fund level asset management services. At Hines, Ms. Guion actively participated in the acquisition of 39 assets throughout the United States totaling $4.5 billion and 17.7 million square feet for the Hines U.S. Core Fund, HinesREIT, and Hines GlobalREIT. Ms. Guion is a Certified Public Accountant. She has completed over 525 lease transactions totaling more than 5.1 million square feet during her career as a broker.
