Alan is the founder and driving force behind Levy Realty Advisors, which has now evolved into a second-generation business. Beginning in 1977, Alan had the vision, enthusiasm and dedication to create the organization after graduating from the University of Florida in December of 1975 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration majoring in Real Estate. His reputation, experience and background as a property manager, leasing expert and dealmaker is well known throughout South Florida. His knowledge and capabilities allow him to analyze any situation and react quickly to provide positive results. Alan continues to stay involved in the leadership aspects of the company by steering the company’s goals. Now that his son Josh has stepped in as Chief Operating Officer and is running the daily operations, Alan has become more focused on investor relations, acquisitions, and the financing aspects of the business. Alan is very active in the community, formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Greater Ft. Lauderdale, has been a supporter of Chabad, JNF, Hillel, AIPAC and many other Jewish and local charities throughout his business career and a long-standing member of the Fort Lauderdale Association of Realtors since 1979. Alan played a critical role in building a team of qualified property managers, leasing agents, experienced brokers, and back-office accounting personnel. With the help of his wife, Lynne, and his son, Josh, Alan has been able to build a team of skilled professionals and deliver the highest level of service to all the company’s investors and clients. Over his 40-year career, Alan has established Levy Realty Advisors as one of the largest privately held commercial and industrial real estate companies in South Florida which specializes in property management.
