Alisdair has worked in the Automotive and Roadside property sector since 1988, acting primarily for occupiers, but also landlords, landowners, developers and lenders, specialising in acquisitions, disposals, roadside property development, together with valuation matters within the roadside sector for secured lending, accounts and to support both the acquisition and sale of both occupational and investment property assets.
Alisdair joined Colliers in 2017 having previously been a Partner in Rapleys Automotive and Roadside Team. Alisdair has represented leading PLC Motor Groups in the acquisition of key sites for leading brands including Land Rover, Volkswagen and Mercedes. Historically Alisdair has lead acquisition programmes for a number of roadside and trade counter operators including Majestic Wine, Topps Tiles and Halfords Autocentres. Alisdair continues to be actively involved in the acquisition and disposal of roadside assets, together with valuation advice ranging from individual motor dealerships to multimillion pound investment portfolios.
Alisdair has represented leading PLC Motor Groups on the acquisition of key sites where they represent leading brands including most recently Land Rover, Volkswagen and Mercedes.
Alisdair has lead acquisition programmes for a number of roadside operators including Majestic Wine, Topps Tiles, Nationwide Autocentres (now Halfords Autocentres).
Alisdair is actively involved in the trade counter sector, advising on the acquisition and development of new schemes in addition to providing acquisition and disposal advice to occupiers.
