Ben launched his real estate career during the 2008 financial crisis, acquiring distressed real estate debt at a time when others were stepping back. As the market recovered, he sharpened his expertise by joining the renowned team at Fortune International Realty, quickly becoming one of the firm’s top-producing commercial brokers.
Ben’s entrepreneurial drive led him deeper into the intersection of real estate and technology with roles at Gridics, a Miami-based zoning and real estate development software company, and Sonder, a venture-backed hospitality startup, where he led real estate acquisitions across South Florida.
Expanding into hospitality, Ben is also a part owner of The Annex, a boutique hotel brand based in Toronto, where he leverages his real estate and underwriting skills to acquire and manage hotel properties.
When he’s not structuring deals or scouting the next opportunity, you’ll find Ben on the water — an avid wakeboarder who’s always looking for an excuse to chase the next ride.
