Bio
Benjamin Sandel is the Co-Founder and Co-Managing Member of HiCap Management, LLC. Mr. Sandel plays a key role in the day-to-day operations and management of the HiCap portfolio.
Prior to founding HiCap, Mr. Sandel was an Associate Director in the Retail Leasing Division at Eastern Consolidated. While at Eastern, Mr. Sandel brokered office, industrial, and retail lease transactions through tenant and landlord representation in New York City and the outer boroughs.
Mr. Sandel also previously worked at Central Park Group, LLC, an alternative Investment firm, where he was a Research Analyst. At CPG, Mr. Sandel covered a variety of alternative asset classes, including real estate, hedge funds, private equity funds, funds of funds, and liquid alternatives.
Mr. Sandel is a graduate of Yeshiva University's Sy Syms School of Business with a B.S. in Finance, and is active in the university’s Real Estate Alumni Association.
