Brian Hanson is responsible for investment sales, leasing, and private capital placement at Ethos, specializing in office, multifamily, and development transactions. He draws on over a decade of experience in a wide variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, agency leasing and tenant representation. Through sophisticated financial analysis, skillful negotiation, and pure hard work, Brian is dedicated to securing the best possible terms for his clients
Brian came to Ethos Commercial Advisors with 12 years of commercial real estate experience in Portland, Oregon and New York City and has successfully completed nearly $400 million in sale transactions. In Portland, Brian has worked for local industry leaders such as ScanlanKemperBard Companies and HFF (now JLL). Prior to moving to Portland, he worked in investment property sales and leasing with Massey Knakal Realty Services (now Cushman Wakefield) where he was awarded the Seventh Annual Michael Fuchs and Aby Rosen PIER Award, representing overall values of Passion, Integrity, Excellence and Responsibility.
Brian earned his Master’s in Real Estate Finance at New York University and a B.S. in Psychology from Boston University, where he also minored in Spanish and spent a semester studying in Madrid, Spain.
Outside of his professional life, Brian spends time camping, hiking, and traveling with his family and enjoys snowboarding, surfing, and rock climbing.
Brian currently holds a real estate license in Oregon.
