In 2003, Carrie attended the American Real Estate College and earned her Colorado Real Estate Broker’s license. For a few years afterwards, she worked as an agent with Coldwell Banker and then went on to serve her clients for several years as an independent real estate broker throughout the Boulder and Denver areas. At the time she was licensed, she also started a new career in the Mortgage Field Servicing industry. She worked in both fields simultaneously for the next eleven years. While serving as the Director of American Property Management, she developed a unique set of skills managing distressed, REO and government owned residential properties. In October 2017, her family fell in love with and moved to the North Fork Valley. And that is when Carrie joined RE/MAX Mountain West! She has learned many new things living in a beautiful valley with a diverse topography, water system and community. It has been a wonderful journey. In 2021, she became one of five directors on the Delta County Board of Realtors, and it has been a true honor to serve her community in this capacity. She sees this opportunity as a steppingstone to one day serving on a statewide level with the Colorado Association of Realtors. On all her listings, she includes a Matterport 3D Virtual Tour and photography. The virtual tours are innovative, and the photography is high quality. As the saying goes, "you don't get a 2nd chance to make a first impression" and this, in her professional opinion, is the best way to make a first impression.
