Chris Riley is responsible for the firm’s investment strategy, including chairing the investment committee, and fundraising for the firm’s closed-end development and acquisition fund series. He will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risk exposure (macro global issues, domestic issues, and commercial real estate issues) and market opportunities to develop a business strategy that produces exceptional results.
Prior to joining Robinson Weeks Partners, Chris was President Capital Markets US Industrial & Logistics for CBRE. With nearly 40 years real estate experience, Chris played a pivotal role in many landmark transactions throughout his career. In 2010, he was instrumental in founding National Partners, bringing together five leading regional industrial Capital Markets practices across key markets. This visionary approach created a unified team capable of delivering seamless, coast-to-coast capital markets capabilities. During that time, CBRE executed over 4,600 transactions totaling over $228 billion in total consideration and was the market share leader for sales volume from 2011 - 2024.
Mr. Riley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Business Administration from Emory University. He is a licensed agent in Geogia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Mr. Riley is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI OPC Gold Council), the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, and the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors.
