Dan Segal, a managing director at Newmark Knight Frank, has specialized in tenant representation over the past 12 years. Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, Mr. Segal oversaw the full leasing of a dozen buildings and supervised a team of six real estate brokers. Several transactions in his career were recognized for their significance, as well as their complexity.
Among the numerous high-profile building owners he has represented are P & J Realty, The Winter Organization, The Macklowe Organization and Max Capital.
Mr. Segal has evolved into an aggressive tenant representative, having represented such companies as The Interpublic Group, Shandwick U.S.A., Oasis International (Dentsu Advertising), Mark USA (Ryan Drossman), McCarthy Mambro Bertino, Hale and Hearty Soups, Hampshire Hotels and Resorts, Lily Pond Capital Management, Stonehill Capital Management, Stonecastle Partners, Biflex Intimates Group, ORT America, Marvel Comics, Insight Communications, The Committee for the Weizmann Institute, Lacher Lovell and Taylor, Lodinguer Erk and Chanzis, and Gruppo Levey Holdings.
Mr. Segal is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York. In addition, he serves as a Board Member for The Epilepsy Institute and the Children’s Hospital of New York-Presbyterian, as well as a committee member for The Center for Family Support.
Mr. Segal graduated cum laude from The State University of Oneonta where he earned his B.A. in Economics.
