David K. Holeman serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Whitestone REIT. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he held the role of Chief Financial Officer beginning in 2006 and also served as CFO of Whitestone REIT’s former management company. Before entering the commercial real estate development sector, Holeman was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gexa Energy, a NASDAQ-listed retail electricity provider, from 2004 to 2006. He previously held the positions of Controller and Chief Financial Officer at Houston Cellular Telephone Company from 1994 to 2003. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Abilene Christian University.
