Bio
David G. Holstein graduated from the State University of Albany in New York, earning a Bachelors Degree in Business and Political Science. After completing his studies, he relocated to Southern California to pursue a career in Commercial Real Estate. In 1998, David began his career with Marcus & Millichap, focusing on the sale of multi-family investment properties, later expanding his portfolio to include retail investments.
During his time at Marcus & Millichap, David received several accolades, including Rookie of the Year in 1998 and National Achievement Awards from 1999 to 2005. He consistently ranked among the top 5 in his office throughout his tenure with the firm. In 2005, David joined RE/MAX Commercial & Investment Realty as a Vice President of Investments. By 2009, he ranked #3 among RE/MAX Commercial agents in the United States and #5 worldwide in commissions earned.
In his five years with RE/MAX, David received numerous awards, including Chairman's Club and Platinum Club honors, and was inducted into their Hall of Fame for his exceptional sales performance.
In 2012, David established The Holstein Group, where he utilizes his Broker's license and membership with organizations such as South Bay MLS, CLAW, LoopNet, AOA, Co-Star, Crexi, and AAGLA to provide expert services to his clients.
Outside of work, David enjoys General Aviation, having obtained Single Engine Private Pilot Ratings in 1998, Instrument Ratings (2010), SF50 Single Engine Jet (2020) &, EA500 Multi-Engine Jet type ratings (2026). David also holds and Advance Scuba diving certifications and logged many dives throughout the world. David enjoys spending time with his 2 kids (High School) and being active in their school and adventures.
