Derek Lee is the co-founding partner of L.G. Fairmont Group, a residential brokerage firm focused on Manhattan and Brooklyn. Mr. Lee previously founded Riverbend Capital Group, the management company of a quantitative global-macro hedge fund and investment advisory company. Mr. Lee's areas of expertise also include behavioral economics and quantitative finance. His Theory of Market Dynamics played an integral role in quantitative trading for Riverbend Capital Partners. Mr. Lee has lectured at several top business schools in the United States and China on various topics including the role of behavioral finance in asset allocation and risk management as well as contemporary issues surrounding the creation and operation of Hedge Funds. Mr. Lee sits on the Business Advisory Board of the Endpoint Late Stage Fund and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Shepherd Funds. Derek holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
