Dwayne is the owner and broker of Copper Key Properties Powell, Realtors in Kingsport, TN, as well as the owner, course sponsor, and a Tennessee and Virginia state-certified instructor at the Real Estate Training and Education Center. Still active in the real estate market, he’s a top producer and serves as the principal broker in Tennessee and Virginia, broker-in-charge in South Carolina and North Carolina, and qualifying broker in Georgia for Copper Key Properties Powell, Realtors. With over 30 years of experience as a practicing real estate broker across these states, Dwayne has owned and brokered four companies (Copper Key Properties Powell, Realtors, Lighthouse Properties, Plantation Properties, and REMAX in Piney Flats, TN). In 2005, he opened the Real Estate School in Kingsport to train new agents, promoting professionalism and ethical practices in the local markets. He enjoys sharing his expertise with students to help them succeed in earning their real estate licenses. He has also served on two Virginia Association committees (Professional Standards and Economic Advisory) and currently serves on the board and chairs the Education Committee for the local Realtor Association.
