Eric Berlin, a graduate of the University of Texas, joined the company in 2006 after six years with Venture Commercial as a land and leasing broker where he excelled at site selection, land acquisition and client representation for several major retail companies. He is experienced in analyzing and acquiring retail, commercial and land sites for development or investment. Many of his projects required financing and construction oversight. He has been successful at obtaining approvals for environmentally sensitive properties. He has also successfully re-zoned many Dallas/Fort Worth area commercial and residential properties in numerous cities. He has a keen ability to consider tax consequences and overall business opportunities for potential investors. He or an affiliate will act as Principal and/or General Partner for each property acquisition, management and disposition. During the most recent turbulent times, Eric played a key roll in acquiring a pool of distressed real estate deals. He has a strong background in ranch management, development and acquisition. He has been responsible for the company's natural gas interest acquisition in the Barnett Shale. Eric is married and has three children, and is a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.
