Bio
Gordon Nielsen was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. After attending the Copenhagen Business School, he furthered his education in the United States, where he majored in Economics and Business Administration.
After relocating to Washington DC, Gordon joined the Summit Commercial Real Estate team. With an entrepreneurial spirit as well as energetic, results-driven attitude he is able to take complicated transactions and manage them from start to finish. His out-of-the-box approach, financial background and business acumen are a great benefit to his clients.
Gordon is skilled in macro and micro economical analysis of commercial real estate trends. He has experience building forecasting models, evaluating financial feasibility and conducting site and trade area analysis for proposed new developments.
Gordon specializes in commercial property sales and tenant representation throughout the Washington metropolitan area. His clients include local and international investors, developers, embassies, associations, foundations, universities, charter schools, preschools, nonprofits and churches.
Gordon has an entrepreneurial background, having cofounded two successful ventures prior to relocating to DC, the first an internet sport service provider and the second a telecom infrastructure products and services company with more than 100 employees. He was vital in securing several multimillion-dollar contracts with wireless carriers and government agencies.
Having been involved in all facets of developing a business from the ground up, Gordon has developed an extensive network both nationally and internationally. As an entrepreneur and consultant, he has developed business plans, financial models, and raised capital for ventures in the United States as well as Europe.
