Haydn qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1972 and has been selling hotels, and associated hospitality businesses since 1988. He joined Colliers Robert Barry following the takeover of Staintons Hospitality Surveyors in 2001 and is now a Consultant at Colliers. He is an active participant in the Cumbrian economy having been a Director of Cumbria Tourism for 12 years as well as representing tourism on the Lake District National Park Partnership for 14 years. He continues to be a member of the LDNP Business Task Force
