Hugo Moreno is the Chief People Officer at Columbia Hospitality, where he leads the company’s people, culture, and workforce strategy across its national portfolio of hospitality properties. In this role, he oversees employee engagement, talent acquisition and retention, service excellence, workplace culture, and benefits, supporting both on-property teams and corporate leadership. Moreno brings more than two decades of human resources leadership experience in hospitality and food service, including prior roles as Director of Human Resources at MOD Pizza and senior people leadership positions with Two Roads Hospitality, Levy Restaurants, and Sage Hospitality. He joined Columbia Hospitality in 2019 and has held progressive leadership roles culminating in his appointment as Chief People Officer in 2026.
