Jim grew up watching his native Aurora – a mid-sized, far western, industrial based satellite community of Chicago – turn into a dynamic, high-tech, stand-alone community boasting of being the second largest city in Illinois. A great place to live and work!
Jim is a 40 year veteran real estate broker. He attended the University of Illinois at Champaign, Aurora University, the American Institute of Banking, is a graduate of the Realtors Institute, and holds the coveted CCIM designation – Certified Commercial Investment Member – which stressed valuation and tax implications for the sale and purchase of commercial properties.
Jim currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Yorkville Economic Development Corporation, is a member of the Kendall County Zoning Board of Appeals, a former member of the Kendall County Regional Plan Commission, past president of the Greater Aurora Board of Realtors, former director of the Oswego Chamber of Commerce, past director of the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of Realtors, served as director on the Mercy Center Hospital Auxiliary Board, past director of Family Support Center, former director of the board of the Knights of Columbus, and past president of the St. Ann’s Catholic Church Council of Oswego, IL.
