Bio
Jared Sobel is a Principal at Raven Capital Advisors, where he leads debt and equity placement across all major commercial real estate asset classes. With over 15 years of production experience and more than $5 billion in closed transactions, Jared advises owners, operators, and developers on optimal capital structures spanning multifamily, office, industrial, retail, mixed-use, and hospitality properties.
Jared's execution capabilities cover the full depth of the capital stack, including agency debt through the GSEs, life company placements, CMBS, and balance sheet lending. In addition, Jared has successfully structured bridge and mezzanine financing, debt fund executions, and preferred equity for his clients nationwide. His ability to match borrower objectives with the right capital source, structure, and timing has made him a trusted advisor to institutional and entrepreneurial sponsors alike.
Prior to Raven, Jared served as a Senior Managing Director at Walker & Dunlop, where he originated loans nationwide and played a central role in scaling the firm's Middle Market platform. During his six-year tenure, Jared was the number one producer in the program nationally, was named a Top Ten team at the firm in each of his six years, and was a two-time recipient of Walker & Dunlop's Billion Dollar Club. Before that, he was an Executive Vice President in CBRE's Debt & Structured Finance group within Capital Markets, where he helped build the firm's agency lending platform into the number one originator in the space and was a four-time member of CBRE's Multimillion Dollar Club.
Jared has been recognized as a GlobeSt Rainmaker, a Connect CRE Top Mortgage Broker, a NYREJ One to Watch, and was named to Commercial Observer's 25 Under 35 list. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and the Young Mortgage Bankers Association (YMBA). He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and is a licensed real estate salesperson in New York and New Jersey. He serves clients nationally across all major markets.
