Jason Gorman is a Senior Vice President of CB Richard Ellis' Consulting Group. As a key member of the consulting division, he has been involved in the negotiation and structuring of complex lease, acquisition and sales transactions for a wide range of clients. Mr. Gorman brings extensive knowledge of the economic and financial statement impact of various real estate transactions to the team and maintains an active role in the strategic planning and implementation phases of numerous projects. This experience has allowed Mr. Gorman to assist clients throughout the transaction process, particularly in helping clients gain internal consensus on real estate issues.
Mr. Gorman has been involved with significant leasing transactions exceeding three million square feet. In October 2000, he was a key member of the team that completed one of the largest transactions of the year in Manhattan: a 650,000 square foot lease at Times Square Tower on behalf of Arthur Andersen. This transaction was notable not only for its size and location, but also because it concluded the redevelopment of Times Square. Additionally, the Real Estate Board of New York recognized the Arthur Andersen transaction as being one of the best of 2000 by presenting the team with the Robert T. Lawrence Memorial Award for "Ingenious Brokerage Deal of the Year". Additionally, Mr. Gorman has been involved with arranging sales transactions in excess of $100 million.
