Jason Harrell is active in all types of commercial properties, including project leasing and tenant representation for office and healthcare properties. While an expert on office leasing, he specializes in representing healthcare professionals lease, purchase, and sell medical office space in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. His services include financial analysis, site selection, expansions, early terminations, practice start-ups, lease review and negotiations.
Prior to joining Transwestern, Jason served as the director of a non-profit in Houston working with undergraduate students at Rice University and medical students at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas Health Science Center. At Transwestern, he has worked on projects with a team responsible for leasing over one million square feet of Class A office space. In addition to leasing office space, Jason has helped clients purchase office buildings, sell office buildings, buy land for development, and sell land for future development.
Since specializing in healthcare real estate, Jason has completed leases or sales transactions with physicians and other healthcare professionals across the Dallas-Fort Worth area including plastic surgeons, obstetrician-gynecologists, dermatologists, otolaryngologists, ophthalmologist, gastroenterologists, physical therapists, oncologists, optometrists, audiologist, and general surgeons. Jason is a part of Transwestern’s Healthcare Advisory Services division, which is the largest dedicated healthcare brokerage team in the nation. The Healthcare Advisory Services team has completed over 3,500 leases in a five-year span, across 180 medical leasing projects, 14 million square feet, and consist of approximately 165 healthcare real estate professionals.
Jason received a Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. He received a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in commercial real estate from the University of Houston’s Bauer Graduate Real Estate Program. Jason enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, and his wife is a physician in Tarrant County.
