Jens Mathiesen has been a pivotal member of the Group since 2008, serving as President and CEO. He has been part of the Executive Committee since 2016, where he has played a crucial role in shaping the company’s strategic direction.
Born in 1969 and of Danish nationality, Jens holds a degree in Shipping Brokerage from Transocean Shipping in Denmark.
Before joining the Group, he garnered extensive experience in the hospitality and transportation sectors. He served as the Country Managing Director at Scandic Denmark and held the position of Director of Sales & Marketing at Choice Hotels Scandinavia. Additionally, Jens was the CEO of Fountain Scandinavia A/S and the Head of Sales & Marketing at Avis Rent a Car.
Beyond his executive roles, Jens is actively involved in the business community. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Dansk Erhverv (Danish Chamber of Commerce) and is the Chairman of the Board of Kraks Fond, contributing his expertise to foster growth and innovation in the industry.
