John specializes in the purchase and sale of income-producing office, industrial, medical and retail properties. John’s exclusive focus on the sale and purchase of investment properties allows him to concentrate on the complex details of successfully concluding a sale transaction. In 1996, he founded CBRE's Indianapolis Commercial Investment Properties Team, which has completed over $2 billion in sales and is now widely recognized as the market leader for investment property sales in Central Indiana. John’s team was also active in Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Northern Indiana markets.
Prior to joining CBRE, John spent nine years in the commercial real estate field with Duke Realty Corporation. From mid-1988 through late 1993, John had responsibility for the performance of a two-million-square foot portfolio of industrial, office and retail properties located in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois and Missouri. From late 1993 through 1995, John was appointed Director of Financial Underwriting and was responsible for overseeing the financial underwriting of Duke’s acquisition and development activities. Prior to his commercial real estate career, John was a certified public accountant for Price Waterhouse Cooper’s Indianapolis office.
