John Olympitis is Executive Vice President Corporate Development and has responsibility for originating transactions and managing growth relationships across all asset classes, as well as leading the Business Development and Strategy teams. Previously, Mr. Olympitis served as a Senior Vice President and Vice President in both the Business Development and Investment groups and has been actively involved in acquisition and development, having served at the forefront of several Welltower joint ventures with world class institutions.
Mr. Olympitis started his career in real estate finance in Capital Markets and Investor Relations roles at The Rouse Company in Columbia, Maryland, and subsequently spent more than 10 years on Wall Street at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and private investment vehicles in advisory and portfolio management roles before joining Welltower in early 2015.
