Bio
Jon is the President and Chief Executive Officer of International Association Management. He is an Association Executive Director with expertise in financial planning, cost management, strategic sustainability planning, and association alliance negotiation. Mr. Dancy is a high-energy, results-oriented leader with entrepreneurial skills and a team attitude. He leads a highly motivated, well-trained staff of professionals with integrity and transparency. He has more than 20 years’ senior management experience in association management, corporate accounting and information technology in both business and non-profit industries. In addition, he has worked as a consultant with foundations and associations in areas such as online training and curriculum development, fundraising and sponsorship. His well-rounded experience makes him an expert strategic planner and speaker in the association management and information technology field. Previously, Dancy was an accountant and information technology administrator with medical practices for over 12 years, and a consultant for many practice groups in both Florida, Alabama, and Georgia.
Jon holds master’s degrees in both business administration and information technology, and is a graduate of the Terry College of Business of the University of Georgia. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) , a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a Certified Business Process Associate (CBPA), and a member of the AICPA and ABPMP.
