Joe began his career in commercial real estate in 1958, obtained his brokers license in 1959 and began his own firm, Metro Realty, in 1960. He merged with S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. in 1966. In addition to brokering thousands of transactions over the years, he has also developed numerous Shopping Center and Multifamily Projects in Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina. His level of accomplishment and experience is unparalleled in the commercial real estate community.
Of Joe’s many successes, he holds the honor of completing the largest single transaction in the over 100 year history of S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. to-date, the $242,000,000 sale of a group of shopping centers containing 2.5 million square feet in the Ft. Lauderdale area of Florida. In total, Joe has completed transactions totaling in the billions of dollars and he continues to break both company and industry records year after year.
